Hi there! I’m Enzo and I teach English to many different classes. One of them is a group of ten 11-year-olds who have classes with me twice a week (on Tuesdays and Thursdays). I’m open to suggestions. Perhaps we could do some email exchange, or some writing collaboration in GoogleDocs (or similar). They have Internet connections in their houses, but we’re still waiting for the connection at the school :S
I’m looking forward to finding epals from around the world!!!!
As a part of generating awareness on cultures across the globe, an exhibition is being organised by us and we have named it Virtual World Tour. Children of class KG, 1, 2, 3 and 4 will be participating in this event. The children are currently studying about the culture of Germany, New Zealand, Egypt, Turkey, Cameroon, U.K. and Poland. From Monday, they will be dressed as natives of the mentioned countries where each classroom will represent a different country and culture.
To make the event more lively, 3D models of famous monuments of these 7 countries have been made. Children have also made information books on famous personalities of the respective countries. Very soon we will upload the pictures of the event too.
Hey everyone – great opportunity for your school to do something the kids will get behind and love – National Geographic and Guinness World Records are promoting healthy lifestyles by organising a world record attempt – seeing if they can break the world record for the most people running 100m in the same 24hr period. Check it out and sign up today at http://kids.nationalgeographic.com/kids/run-for-the-planet/.
We are pledging over 1000 runners and we would love to see what other schools we can get involved. Check it out and if you are interested but need help with the organisational aspects, let me know as I have organised ours.
Virtual World Tour 2012- an odyssey into varied cultures.
I have a problem – I had organised two schools for penpal programs but for some reason or another, they have not come to fruition. So I am in need of two schools to build a penpal program. I am in desperate need as the students at my school have already written the letters and are keen for this to happen.
Is there any schools that can help?
We are beginning our school year next week. We are a grade 6/7 class (age 11- 13 years old) in Ontario, Canada. We would love to set up some Skype sessions to discuss a typical school day with other classes. We would love to have an introductory session that may lead to additional sessions throughout the year. Please feel free to leave a comment here, or email me directly @ email@example.com
We are from The Indian Heights School, Dwarka, New Delhi, India. I am working as a Coordinator and would like to give VC exposure to my students. Pls contact at firstname.lastname@example.org.
