Greetings from Fourfields Community Primary School in Yaxley!
We are a large primary school currently with 420 pupils aged between 4 and 11. This means that there are 14 classes in the school, 2 for each year group. The children love exchanging messages and letters with children from other schools and especially from other countries and are very excited to be taking part in the blog.
Yaxley is said to be the largest village in England and is about 7 miles from the cathedral city of Peterborough. We are on the edge of the flat agricultural land known as the Fens and about an hour’s drive from the east coast. London is about 80 miles south of us.
We can’t wait to hear from all of you and look forward to a successful partnership. You can find out more about us, and see lots of photographs, at our school website www.fourfields.cambs.sch.uk
